Campbell Falls is an amazingly beautiful waterfall located on the border of Connecticut and Massachusetts, just a 5-10 minute drive from the Mountain View Green Retreat.
There are two ways to get to it. You can park on the CT side of the border and take 15 minute walk through the woods and commune with nature on your way to the Falls. Or you can park on the MA side of the border and simply walk down a hill to the Falls. Either way, it is worth the trip. Bring your camera.
To Park on CT Side and Walk about 15 minutes through the woods to get to the Falls: From the Mountain View Green Retreat, take a left out of the driveway onto 272. Go streight on 272 about 4.5 miles. Make a left onto Spaulding Road. Sign for Campbell Falls is on your right. If you park on the CT side, be sure to take the path to the left of the parking lot, not the one directly in front of it which leads to the latrine.
To Park on MA side and go down a hill to see the Falls: From the Mountain View Green Retreat, take a left out of the driveway onto 272. Go streight on 272 about 4.6 miles. Make a left onto Campbell Falls Road. Sign for Campbell Falls is on your left.
