Can't say enough good things about our stays (yes, stays!) at the Mountain View Retreat. Wendy, Mike, Max, and Lucy are all welcoming, gracious, caring hosts. The rooms are immaculate, inviting and so comfortable. The breakfasts' healthy, custom-made and rejuvenating! And Norfolk, with Infinity Hall, a library that should not be missed, the Yale Summer Music series, wonderful hikes year round and cross country skiing in the winter is New England at it's best. Don't hesitate to visit the area and stay at the Mountain View Retreat!

We had a fantastic, relaxing weekend here, enjoying the fall foliage. The inn is charming, breakfast is delicious, and the service is impeccable - feel like you’re part of a family. We will definitely be coming back!

We loved everything about our time at the Mountain View Green Retreat. We were greeted warmly by Wendy and Mike upon arrival, who are truly the most gracious and kind hosts we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The food was incredible: a beautiful selection of organic goodies! The coffee was fantastic, the juice was amazing, and that alone was worth the trip! The rooms were charming and clean and the WIFI was reliable. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I had the good fortune to stay at the Mountain View Green Retreat for our recent anniversary. What a beautiful setting, gracious hosts and excellent food - they simply could not do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay - we will certainly be returning for another visit soon!

What a wonderful, charming country bed and breakfast. Innkeepers were so welcoming in making us feel like special guests. Breakfast was excellent and prepared just as we wanted. Beautiful surroundings with wildlife, flowers and so peaceful and relaxing. A nice little town with a couple great attractions in the immediate area to explore. Delightful farmers market in town on Saturday morning. My sweetheart and I really enjoyed. Thank you.

We did a quick trip to Norfolk to catch a concert at the Infinity Hall and had the good fortune to get a room here. Comfy and cozy and close to every thing, we were very taken by our visit, Our hosts were gracious and charming, and make a smashingly yummy and healthy breakfast. From old world charm to modern hospitality, this inn added the shine to our stay, and we have them in our contacts for next time!

Looking for a quiet get away from a busy life! This is the place to be. We had tickets to a show at the Infinity and decided to relax and enjoy the surrounding state parks before going home. The rooms are beautifully decorated, ours had an on suite bath. We played checkers and enjoyed pleasant conversation with other guests in the common areas of the home. The pressed juice and healthy breakfast were just what I needed to energize before our day of hiking. I enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to the morning doves coo...
